Do you ever wonder why you are where you at in life? Do you see other people and wonder why they seem to be so happy? In the mean time, you look at your surroundings and wish for something else; all the while failing to understand that it is all up to you.

How old are you? Are you young looking to a bright future? Are you older, thinking about what you should have done years ago? Well, either way there is a future.

No matter what mistakes you have made in the past, remember that it is just that, in the past. You can be happy. But, you have to take action to find it. What is making you unhappy? Answer this question and you can solve the problem.

Want to make more money? There is a way to do this, either go to school and switch careers or work at what you are doing and stay miserable. If you like what you are doing, but want more money doing it, find a way to advance in your field. It’s your move.

Not happy with your love life? Change it! Either work on the relationship you have or move on. I know this easier said than done a lot of times, especially when financial considerations are involved. Some people say they can’t afford to leave a bad relationship, but, if you are unhappy, money can’t be the end all to the problem. You deserve to be happy!

You see people all the time that seem to be happy. But, the truth is, out in public a lot of these people put up a front for their co-workers and associates. If you could see their personal life, the picture may be dramatically different. They refuse to change their situation to obtain happiness at all levels.

Of course you can’t do anything to make them happy, only yourself. So, the next time you find yourself wondering what went wrong in your life, stop. Looking back only makes your neck tire from looking over shoulder, look ahead, go after what you seek.
